First Bath In The Big Tub

Today was Zoe's first bath in the big bath tub. She's graduated from the kitchen sink baths. Although, I have to say, bathing her in the sink was much easier on my back. No age jokes here, please. ;-) She can finally fit in her duck outfit.

Getting Into A Routine

It's been just a few days since I came home to Germany with Zoe. I was lucky enough to have Grandma and Pop Pop here for six weeks for the delivery. Then, all four of us enjoyed another five weeks together in the states. Now I'm home and learning being a single parent is all about finding what works. I've discovered the sling is a perfect place for Zoe when I do laundry, the car seat is where she goes when I'm cooking, and the bouncy chair now has a permanent home in the bathroom. Zoe loves to sit in it while I take my shower. Today she sucked her thumb for the first time all by herself!

What a mess...

Today, we went to brunch with some friends, and when we got home, I fed her. I was thinking, "Oh, she's so warm against my stomach." Well, as you can see, she pooped so big, it came out the front!! In fact, she's even smiling about it on the changing table! We just took a bath, and I couldn't resist taking a picture of her naked butt before we got in the tub.
