Happy Valentine's Day

I couldn't ask for a better valentine this year. She's 11 weeks old already. Isn't she the cutest thing you've ever seen?

First Week Back

Well, we both survived my first week back at work, and her first week in daycare. Zoe is in a home based daycare with 3 other children. Her daycare is only 2 buildings away from school, so I am able to visit her during the day. Her provider, Melody, is a God-send. Zoe is learning to be on a schedule, and is starting to sleep longer at night. Getting out the door on time in the mornings is the biggest challenge. It takes 10 minutes just to bundle her up in warm clothes before heading outside! After an exhausting week, we're spending the day in our pj's.

Crib Dry-Run

Zoe took her first nap in her crib today. I'm not ready to move her out of my bed at night yet, but, my goal is April. Although she looked so small in that big 'ole crib, she did sleep very soundly. Later in the day, she napped on the couch with her new favorite toy - the wiggly cat.

Baby Massage

We had our first baby massage class today. I really enjoyed learning all the massage strokes and trying them out on Zoe. After greasing her up with olive oil, I massaged her from head to toe. She loved it! This is also helping me to relax...I start back to work on Monday. :-(
