She's Making Me Dinner!

Zoe got her own basket at the food store and filled it with her list of ingredients, then we came home and she made me dinner! All I did was cook the meat and put it in a bowl for her. She did everything else. She was so proud! It was so good I had two plates full! 

Wiesbaden Wine Fest!

We had a great time visiting friends in Wiesbaden.  Gorgeous weather, lots of fun!

Lost Tooth!

Zoe lost her first tooth....she bit into a fudgsicle, how fitting, and out it came!  After about 30 seconds of shock, she was thrilled!  The Tooth Fairy visited her that night and left her $10!  What a cutie with that new hole in her smile!

Disneyworld!

Wow, we just returned from a week in Florida.  We conquered 5 theme parks in 5 days!  We had such a blast!

First Day, Last Day

Bittersweet day....Zoe's last day at her German kindergarten.  She had such a great year;  learned how to speak German in just a few short months!  Look at the difference between her first day and last day at the school.  What a great way to end her time at MaReg, earning first place in the Turnen Olympics!  She's off to my school in the fall, yay!

Oh The Power of Bubbles!

Today Zoe came home from school sad that a boy had called her a name.  Apparently at recess she picked up a stick to play with and this boy came running over claiming that was HIS stick, and then called her a name and ran off.  A big hug from mommy, and a warm bubble bath followed by a fudgsicle fixed everything!

Canary Islands

We decided to return to the Canary Islands for Spring Break again.  What a fantastic place! 

No Training Wheels!

Zoe decided it was time to get rid of the training wheels!  I thought it would take days, but it took about 2 minutes and she was off on 2 wheels!  Go, Zoe!

Fasching

Thank goodness for old Halloween costumes!  Zoe was a clown once again for the Fasching party at her school.  This time, a fellow student - 5 years old! - did her face painting.  :-)
