Caught!

Zoe found a bag of dried apples in the snack drawer and tried to open them herself. What a mess! When I looked at her (with camera in hand, of course) and said, "Wow, what happened?" this is the look she gave me -- priceless!

Holiday Park

Zoe and I went to Holiday Park today with Keely and Ava Lily. It was hot - but the girls stayed cool in the water. We all had a good time - the girls loved the animal show!

Shoe Crazy!

Zoe is absolutely obsessed with shoes! She loves to try on my shoes and attempt to walk around the house in them. She usually gets about 2 steps and falls over - but not this time. Here she is in a pair of my shoes - doing quite well, I might add!

Crazy for Pomegranates

Zoe's all-time favorite fruit for the past 6 months or so has been pomegranates. I was worried when the season ended that we wouldn't be able to purchase them anymore. However, the commissary has surprised me by continually keeping them in stock. Usually we share a bowl of the little red seeds, but tonight she grabbed the spoon and ate the whole bowl by herself!

With all the fuzzy friends in her crib, is there any room left for Zoe? :-)

Backyard...Again

Zoe absolutely loves being outside. As soon as we come home everyday, she runs to the back door and says, "Out!" She runs around, climbs on her slide, and asks for a ride in her "wing"...which is Zoe's word for "swing". I bought her a very cute sandbox, and she has so much fun in it! I put some water in her baby pool for her to rinse off in after playing the sandbox. She loves the pool, too, so getting her to come in from the backyard isn't easy. Another thing she likes to do is help me mow the grass. She runs all over the yard with her little mower! One of her newest words since we've been outside getting dirty in the grass and sand is "yucky". I'm amazed at how much she is talking these days. With all that talking, comes her requests. Every night after the bath, she used to just ask for "puppy" before bedtime. Now, it's "puppy, bear, baby, piggy, and blanket". I can hardly carry her upstairs to bed with my arms so full!

Luisenpark

The weather has been so nice here lately. We are enjoying being outside and especially the long days of sunshine. Keely and I took the girls to Luisen Park today. We started with a boat ride around the lake - those darn pelicans followed our boat for quite some time....what is it about my kid and pelicans? :-) Zoe and Ava Lily had a really fun time chasing each other around all of the playgrounds. Zoe had a great time in the sandbox - I may have to think about getting her one for our backyard. We ended a fun day with some ice cream - yum!
