She eats!

I was ready to give up on solid foods for Zoe until our travels were finished and we were relaxing at Grandma and Pop-Pop's house. However, thoughts of my daughter sucking her meals through a bottle for the rest of her life because her mom didn't start her on solids early enough got the best of me, so I tried rice cereal again. The previous two times, she was not interested at all. I got the cereal ready, but this time decided to do without the cute bowl, spoon, and matching bib, convinced that she would not like the taste again, and I'd be cleaning up seconds after getting it all set up. I must admit, I have tried it, and it tastes like cardboard! Zoe wasn't sure about the first few bites, but after about the fourth spoonful, she decided it was just perfect. She ate the whole bowl and followed it with her first bottle of water. If you look closely at the picture, she's even giving me a 'thumbs-up'!
